Webinar on Research Methodology

Research Centre of Aquinas College of Higher Studies organized its first Webinar on Research Methodology on the 05th July 2021 as the first step taken towards creating a research culture at Aquinas. A number of 48 participants joined the webinar including the academic and non-academic staff and the undergraduates of Aquinas.

The Resource Person was Dr. Thusitha Rodrigo - a Senior Academic who is one of the main consultants of Aquinas College of Higher Studies.

For those who are involved in the conduction of research, it is mandatory that they perform the research well in order to curtail the wastage of time and money. Therefore, it is important to follow the correct methodology. Dr. Thusitha successfully covered the topics including what is scientific research, deduction and induction, research process, the elements of research design, and the 22 essentials on dissertation writing. It was ended with a Q & A session.
